Owner Details

Please ensure all details provided match those in your passport. If you are not travelling with your pet, please provide the details of those travelling when prompted to do so.

Microchip

It is a requirement for all pets to be microchipped prior to travel, we will need to check this when we provide the Animal Health Certificate

Rabies Vaccine

All animals entering the EU must be vaccinated against rabies. This must be done 21 days or more before travel. This can be done at your regular vet. Proof of rabies vaccine will be required.

Timing of Certificate

An Animal Health Certificate must be completed 10 days or less before your travel date. It is valid for up to 4 months of onward travel within the EU and the return journey to the UK.

Tapeworm Treatment

Anti-tapeworm treatment is required 1-5 days before travel to Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, Finland and Malta. This must be administered in person by a veterinary surgeon. Fortunately, this is a service we also provide.
